Physical Education

The school’s Physical Education program aims to teach Fundamental Motor Skills, develop fitness and foster cooperation between students. Students participate in a variety of physical education activities and modified sports and develop an understanding and appreciation of acceptable codes of sporting behaviour.

The school celebrates our House System (Chisholm, Goold, MacKillop and Mannix) through a Sports Carnival at the end of the year which involves the whole school community.  A swimming carnival occurs at the conclusion of the swimming program with the emphasis on participation and enjoyment.

Resurrection plays host to a number of sporting associations, including: AFL, NRL, Cricket Victoria and SEDA school, who deliver sporting clinics in school and as after school programs.

The Senior School students participate in inter and intra-school sporting activities. They take part in sports such as Hot Shots Tennis, Volleyball, Cricket, Basketball, Soccer, Tag Rugby, Netball and AFL. Students participate in Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics events.
