Visual Arts

At Resurrection School the Visual Arts program is designed to be an engaging and creative program which allows students to express their ideas and communicate through a range of media and techniques. Students create artworks in many different forms in our large purpose built Visual Arts room; including: print-making, clay modeling, weaving, digital art, mixed-media, painting and drawing. Students learn about a range of artists from different times and cultural backgrounds, paying particular attention to First Nations artists.

Along with year round school displays, students have the opportunity to display their artwork at the Resurrection School Biennial Art Show.  All students display a mixture of their two and three-dimensional artwork.
